What if you find problems once the walls come off?
It happens, especially in older homes. If we find hidden damage, we stop, show you photos, and give you a fixed price to fix it. Nothing extra happens without your written sign-off.
Can I live at home during the renovation?
Yes, most clients do. We seal off the work area, protect your floors, and clean up every day. If your home only has one bathroom, we'll talk through the options with you before we quote.

How long does a kitchen take?
Our kitchen renovations in Melbourne take 4 weeks from the day we start on site, guaranteed. Your cabinetry is ordered before we start and the stone is measured the moment the cabinets are in, so the whole job fits in 4 weeks. For every day we run over, we pay you $1,000.

What is the payment process?
Bathrooms: a 5% deposit to secure your start date, then four 25% stage payments at demolition, waterproofing, tiling and handover.
Kitchens: a 5% deposit, 50% of the cabinetry cost when it's ordered, then stage payments at demolition, cabinetry installation, stone installation and handover.
You only pay for each stage once it's done.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We're a licensed builder and fully insured for all bathroom and kitchen renovations in Melbourne and on the Mornington Peninsula. Your project is also covered by Domestic Building Insurance, which Victorian law requires for work over $16,000. It protects you if a builder dies, disappears or becomes insolvent before the job is done.
